Wrap around care
Hub Club
At Hub Club we provide a safe, secure, and fun environment for primary age children at Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Club. We operate from Longlevens Junior School and a part of the Longlevens Primary Federation.
We benefit from the use of two spacious rooms, as well as a large outdoor area, which includes an adventure playground, the school field and forest school areas. The children have the space to relax, unwind or take part in some of the fun activities on offer, these include creative crafts, cooking, outdoor play, sports & ICT.
The Holiday Club sessions run every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (8:30am – 5.00pm) each school holidays, except over Christmas.
Routines
In the morning breakfast club is open from 7:30 and breakfast is served from 7.30am-8.15am, with juice, milk, cereals, toast, pancakes, crumpets, yogurt and fruit being served.
In the afternoon, a snack and a drink will be served, we have a two-week rotating snack menu, that is changed every term. Along with this, there is always fresh fruit and drinks available for the children to have. Any children with allergies/intolerances will have an alternate snack provided for them. Children can choose from the range of age-appropriate play activities.
Behaviour
A copy of the Federation behaviour policy is available on the federation website.
Whilst at Hub Club, children are expected to follow the same rules as they do at school. Sanctions are put into place to ensure the safety of all children and staff. Each incident will be judged by the staff involved and, if necessary, consultations with the senior leadership team will be made. Once multiple sanctions have been given and further behaviours have not improved, the child's allocation within the provision will be removed.
