Year 3 have been having fun using Scratch to tell jokes! They created storyboards then learnt how to create Sprites and backgrounds; how to animate their joke and then finally added sound effects. CLICK HERE to see some of their finished animations!
Year 4 have been working hard creating maths games using Scratch! They researched existing games, then designed their own maths race game by creating backgrounds and Sprites then coding the game. Lots of debugging was needed to ensure the games worked properly. CLICK HERE to play some of their finished games!
Year 5 have been having developing interactive games using Scratch! After designing their games and creating and sourcing assets they built prototypes. These were then debugged and tested before being published. CLICK HERE to play some of their published games!
Year 6 have been getting to grips with the coding language of Python! They played a text based adventure game before planning their own. They then used Python to create their game printing descriptions, using selections, variables and procedures.
